Richard Horrell-Schmitz is a dynamic,
engaging presenter with wide ranging experience from instructing
advanced sign language courses for Sacramento State University
to teaching literacy to Deaf children.
His innovative ideas in curriculum design and development have
brought him considerable attention. One of his projects includes
developing a comic book--based approach to improving the reading
and writing ability of students who are deaf.
He is member of the Lifeprint.com development team and an ASL
University Language model.
As a consultant he has provided numerous workshops for a variety
of organizations and school districts.
Availability:
Due to his busy teaching load Mr. Horrell-Schmitz has only
limited availability to speak or present during the school year
but he does make himself available as time permits.
