The sign for "wait" holds the hands up and off to the side a bit. Wiggle the fingers.

WAIT:

Sample sentence: SUPPOSE TEACHER NOT COME, WAIT HALF-HOUR YOU?

WAIT-a-long-time:

Sample sentence: YOU GO DOCTOR WAIT-[long], YOU SIT-anxious YOU?
