SHRIMP: The American Sign Language (ASL) sign for "shrimp"
 

One option for how to sign SHRIMP is with the dominant hand changing from "1" to "X" a few times, while moving across the body:


 

Another version is similar to the first version but moves in the opposite direction:

 

 

A third option uses the pinky finger:

Similar to the 2 versions above, the pinky finger version can also move toward the dominant side or toward the non-dominant side.

 

 


 

There are some two-handed versions of SHRIMP, however, I do not recommend them due to the additional amount of effort expended:

Sample sentence: I WANT LOSE-WEIGHT CURIOUS KNOW SHRIMP CALORIE-[fs] HOW-MANY? (I want to lose weight. Do you know how many calories in shrimp?)
