American Sign Language: "patience"


The sign for patient as in "patience" is different from the type of patient that you find in a hopsital. For that version go to the PATIENT page and scroll down a bit.
 

PATIENT:
Put your thumbnail on your chin and drag it downward about 2 inches.


SUFFER:
This sign is similar to PATIENT except the sign SUFFER uses a twisting movement as it moves downward.
