American Sign Language: "Classifer: S" (CL:S)


For an explanation of "classifiers" in general, see: CLASSIFIERS



The "S" handshape can be used to show objects that are round and "ball-like."
Cl:S is also used to show how things are grabbed, pulled, and pushed.
 

Examples: A head, breasts, testicles, a ball
Grabbing and lifting the door of a hatchback car.

Pulling out a drawer.
Pulling on a rope.
