On their way to a pageant, to be held in their honor, the Imperial Twins test each other's skills in the ancestral art of Swordplay.
But, on this day of celebration, little do they know of the real challenges awaiting them. Of the roaring thunder that will soon shatter their carefree laughter, the destruction and chaos that will force an entire people into exile, and the confusion of the war that is about to separate this courageous brother from his beloved sister.
This is the story of the coming of age of a young man and a young woman. Through their encounters with love, conflict, and the duality of K? the fire that has the energy to unite and separate, and the power to destroy or illuminate."
