care: How to sign "care" in American Sign Language

Also see "CAREFUL"
Also see "CARELESS"

CARE:
If you mean "care" as in "to not mind or not care" you can use the "DON'T-CARE" sign. However if you mean "care" as in "to care about" then you can use the "CARE / concern" sign. See: https://youtu.be/YTtX1te20w0

If you want to ask "Do you care?" -- There are quite a few different ways to express the concept of "do you care" including:

YOU CONCERN YOU?
THAT IMPORTANT YOU?
IX-"it" BOTHER YOU?
IX-"it" IMPORTANT YOU?
don't-CARE YOU?

If you ask someone if they "don't care" they can respond by stating some sort of statement that they care:
I CONCERN. (I care!)
I THINK IMPORTANT! (It's important to me.)

Or they can affirm that they don't care:
I don't-CARE
WHATEVER ME. (It doesn't matter to me.)
