Subject: "Can I sign "bonus round" without fingerspelling?"
Hello Dr. Vicars,
Is there a way I can sign "bonus round" without fingerspelling? Think of a game show format, where I shall be telling the contestant that they have won, and they are now continuing on to the "bonus round"......in other words, to win more money.
I can only find fingerspelling for the English words "bonus" and "extra".
The only thing I could come up with, was to sign "more money segment". When I sign "segment" I sign "part". Would you please confirm if that's correct?
Thank you. I know you are busy. Thank you for creating Lifeprint. If I can ever help you with anything, just ask. I may be able to help.
Wishing you continued success and peace of mind.
Best regards,

Hello Dee!
While there certainly are a variety of ways to sign "bonus round" -- my suggestion is that you could just sign EXTRA CHALLENGE.
This makes sense in ASL since the signs for "game" and "challenge" are very similar and can overlap. (Sometimes GAME is signed using one movement!).
Do the "add to" version of extra: https://youtu.be/UW8kPYNv55A
Do the CHALLENGE version of game: https://youtu.be/Q_C6Ah7ulP4
Warm regards,
- Dr. Bill
