BISON: The American Sign Language (ASL) sign for "bison"
There are a few ways you can sign BISON in ASL.
One version has the hands at the sides of the forehead in "C" handshape and then move out and forward changing into "S" handshape:
Note: This sign could be 1-handed or 2-handed
Another version is similar to the version above except with "Y" handshape:
Note: This sign could also mean BUFFALO
This version typically means BUFFALO but could mean BISON in certain contexts:
This version of BULL could also be used for BISON in certain contexts:
