Sign Language Journal: Submissions
The Sign Language Journal welcomes manuscripts regarding the teaching, acquisition, use, and applications of signed languages. The Journal is especially interested in articles addressing new developments in the field of American Sign Language instruction, technology-enhanced course delivery, innovative teaching approaches, universal design, online curricula, bilingual-bicultural methodology, and the use of signed languages to facilitate cognition and literacy.

For optimal consideration, manuscripts should be:
1. Submitted electronically in either .doc or .rtf format.
2. Between 1,000 and 10,000 words in length, (approximately three to thirty pages).
3. Double spaced, with at least one-inch margins all around. The author's name should be placed on the title page only to facilitate anonymous peer review.
4. Written in English.
5. Emailed to Vicars@CSUS.edu with a subject line of: SLJ submission: "Title"Accepted submissions become the property of Sign Language Journal, may be edited, and may be published or used in any medium. Submissions will not be returned.
