Sign Language Journal: About
The Sign Language Journal is a record and gallery of the experiences, observations, ideas, and creations of sign language professionals and those who are using sign language to enhance other fields. The focus of the Journal is on the teaching, acquisition, use, and application of signed languages.
We are interested in articles addressing new developments in the field of American Sign Language instruction, technology-enhanced course delivery, innovative teaching approaches, universal design, online curricula, bilingual-bicultural methodology, and the use of signed languages to facilitate cognition and literacy.
The Journal is published online on a continuing basis as new articles become available. The journal is published to an opt-in email list of 10,000 Teachers, Parents, and Students who have self-identified as being interested in the field of Sign Language.
