The materials for this course consist of a set of CDs.
The CDs are quiz CDs that contain video files and about 1,000 signed questions. There is an "ASLU on CD" disk that contains a copy of the ASL University website so you can study without being connected to the internet. And there is a "Level 1 Receptive Final" CD that contains your receptive final for the course. Upon paying the materials fee of $50 (plus shipping) you will be sent the first five CDs. After you complete all 15 quizzes you may contact the instructor and request the Level 1 Receptive Final CD. [Note: This price is only available to registered CSUS CCE students, otherwise the price is higher -- through the normal ASLU bookstore.]

Set includes:
The Unit 1 CD -- corresponds to lessons 1-5 (Unit 1)
The Unit 2 CD -- corresponds to lessons 6-10 (Unit 2)
The Unit 3 CD -- corresponds to lessons 11-15 (Unit 3)
The ASLU CD
-- contains a CD version of the ASU University Website
And later, when you ask me for it (near the completion of your quizzes) I'll send you the receptive-final-evaluation CD.
The system requirements to
run the CDs are:
* Reasonably fast processor speed
* Windows 95/98/NT/ME/2000/XP or newer
* Windows Media Player or any good video player. (All modern Windows Systems
already have one. Or you can download one for free from Microsoft.)
* Internet Explorer (recent version)
2. Study sheets:
The CDs contain many questions. These questions are based on the
course lessons.
To help you answer these questions, I've prepared a bunch of study sheets.
The study sheets contain the actual vocabulary and sentences used in the
CDs--just not in the same order. You can access the study sheets by
