WORM: The American Sign Language (ASL) sign for "worm"

To do the sign for worm (if you are right handed) hold your left "flat" hand in front of you, palm facing right, fingers pointing forward.  Place the thumb-side of your right "1" handshape against your palm.  Slide your right hand forward along the palm and change it from a "1" to an "x" hand shape twice. If you are left handed the opposite hands would be used. Hold your right "flat" hand in front of you, palm facing left, fingers pointing forward. Place the thumb-side of your left "1" handshape against your palm. Slide your left hand forward along the palm and change it from a "1" to an "X" handshape twice.
