CATERPILLAR: The American Sign Language (ASL) sign for "caterpillar"

The sign for CATERPILLAR has two common versions that are used (there may be more, check with your local Deaf community for how they sign it).

 

Version 1 shows the CATERPILLAR crawling up the arm:

 

 

 

 


 

Version 2 shows the CATERPILLAR crawling forward on the palm:
