Here is an initialized version of the sign for ROOM. This is considered "English" by many sign instructors.
For the ASL version, do this sign this using "flat hands (B handshapes with the thumb alongside the palm)."
Using "flat hands" instead of "R" hands is considered "more ASL."
The "flat hands" method is more flexible. It can also mean "BOX" and thus depends more on context.
