Instructions:
This page contains two sections. The first section is readings quiz to
see how well you read the material in lesson 2. The second section is an
answer sheet for a receptive ASL quiz based on questions 1-48 of the "ASL
101 CD" (or videotape). Registered students submit according to your
education plan. Unregistered students take for fun but do not submit.
Lesson 2 Readings Quiz:
1. TRUE or FALSE: In American Sign Language, personal pronouns
(me, she/he, you, us, them) can be made to indicate possession by changing the handshape from an index
finger to a "b" palm.
2. If I raise my eyebrows while asking a question, which am I asking,
"a yes/no question" or a "'wh'-question?"
3, If I furrow my eyebrows while asking a question, which am I asking,

4. List the eight letters of the fingerspelled alphabet that share a
handshape with another letter of the fingerspelled alphabet. (four pairs)

classes and for my online students. Therefore I have not posted the
answers. The answers are available in the lessons.
